Erika Cheung

Co-Founder, Executive Director

Erika obtained a dual degree in Linguistics and Molecular and Cell Biology from UC Berkeley.

She was one of the key whistleblowers that reported Theranos to health regulators. Her report subsequently led to the shutdown of Theranos’ clinical lab which prevented the company from providing false medical results to thousands of patients. This account is covered in the book Bad Blood by John Carreryrou, 60 Minutes, ABC Podcast: The Drop Out, and Alex Gibney’s documentary The Inventor: Out for Blood in Silicon Valley.

She went on to become the Program Director of Betatron a technology accelerator based in Hong Kong.

Luke Finn

Co-founder, Secretary

Luke was raised in Qatar. The first in his family to enter higher education, he completed a master’s in economic history in 2011 at the University of Manchester, UK before working for a United Nations policy watchdog in New York. He later worked for the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute in Gamboa, Panama, and then in Colombia provided protective accompaniment for Colombian activists in combat zones with the Fellowship of Reconciliation.

He is currently completing a law degree at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, where he has worked with Corporate Accountability Lab and founded the Northwestern Student Mental Health Alliance and the Law Students Mental Health National Alliance.

Donna Costa

Board Chair

Donna has three decades of experience working with global organizations across industries, functions and cultures. Her areas of expertise include business ethics, change architecture, corporate governance and organizational management. Donna is passionate about building and leading effective teams, cultivating diversity, mentoring women and contributing to the transformation of organizational culture. She is currently advising nonprofits, start-ups and small businesses committed to social impact. In addition, she is an adjunct professor of business ethics and corporate governance, teaching ethical leadership and decision-making. Donna has an MBA and JD and lives in New York City.

Lakeesha Gage

Lakeesha has over 10 years of experience in both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors, including work at Sustainable Conservation, Back On Track, 100 Black Men of the Bay Area, Trust for Conservation Innovation, and Senior Helpers of the East Bay. A San Francisco native, she is exhilarated to be part of an organization that advocates for healthy communities.

Swan Huang

Operations Manager

Swan is a well-known super-connector in the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Shenzhen, China. She had a social enterprise on WeChat helping ex-pats navigate and understand Mainland China while also providing locals an opportunity to improve their English called Ringy001.
